Middlemore are recruiting exclusively for a growing, private equity-backed organisation seeking an Interim Business/Sales Analyst to join its revenue and transformation function on a maternity cover basis. This is a hybrid role offering the opportunity to support senior stakeholders with sales analysis, pipeline reporting, forecasting, and broader business transformation activity. The role will suit someone who enjoys working with data, spotting trends, and turning analysis into practical action. You will play a key part in improving visibility across the sales cycle, strengthening forecast accuracy, and supporting a business that is investing in growth and continuous improvement.

The role:

  • Prepare weekly pipeline reporting with clear KPIs.
  • Maintain sales league tables covering activity, pipeline, and conversion.
  • Analyse sales performance across the full sales cycle.
  • Produce variance analysis against targets, budgets, and historic trends.
  • Translate sales data into meaningful insights and forecasts.
  • Check data accuracy, challenge exceptions, and improve data quality.
  • Calculate quarterly commission schemes.
  • Support ad hoc sales analysis and wider transformation projects.

About you:

  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Part Qualified Accountant (Desirable).
  • Experience analysing large data sets.
  • Comfortable working across multiple systems to extract and assess data.
  • Finance or accounting knowledge, with an understanding of management information and business performance.
  • Clear communicator who can work confidently with stakeholders at different levels.
  • Available to start in June.
