Overview Middlemore retained by a national financial services organisation to recruit an experienced HR Operations Manager (Lead) on a permanent basis. This is a management level role for someone passionate about driving operational excellence and improving the employee experience through AI, automation, and innovative HR processes. You will lead a small, but highly capable team responsible for managing employee lifecycle processes and supporting basic employee relations in partnership with the HRBP team. The team has great potential, and we are looking for a leader who can develop their skills, provide fresh perspectives, and apply creative solutions drawn from their experience.Responsibilities Work with the Strategic HR Business Partners/Centre of Expertise Leads to ensure HR Operations effectively support People Plans and strategies.Collaborate with Finance, Payroll, Benefits, Compliance and Risk colleagues to ensure a positive employee/end-user experience.Oversee the development, improvement, maintenance, and publishing of all HR policies ensuring alignment with current employment law, regulations, and industry best practice.Oversee the development, improvement, and maintenance of HR processes, ensuring alignment with current employment law, regulations, and industry best practice.Drive continuous improvements to ensure efficiency and effectiveness across the HR function in terms of cost, time and the experience of People Leaders and employees.Own HR operations across the employee lifecycleOversee end-to-end HR process management.Oversee the relationship and interaction between the HR function and payroll/finance.Work with HRIS Lead to ensure the maintenance of HRIS ensuring they function effectively and support business needs.Ensure continual development of and reporting on HR metrics.Conduct HR analytics to identify trends to inform strategy development.Adviser to the business on operational HR mattersIdentify, assess, and mitigate HR-related risks, and oversee governance practices to maintain the integrity and security of HR operationsThe successful candidate will have experience of operating in the financial services space and will have experience in leveraging technology and data to optimise processes and enhance internal user experience.
