We're partnering with a highly respected Financial Services firm to appoint an experienced HR professional to lead HR across a growing business. This is a unique opportunity to take ownership of HR in a high-performing business where HR plays an integral role in supporting both day-to-day operations and the firm's continued growth. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys taking ownership, delivering exceptional operational excellence and building trusted relationships across the business.
The Opportunity
You’ll take ownership of the full employee lifecycle across the UK and Europe. Working closely with senior leadership, you’ll have accountability of the day to day running of the HR function as well as a range of strategic people initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, contracts, benefits, and HR administration.
- Oversee and review payroll across multiple European jurisdictions, working closely with local providers and internal stakeholders.
- Manage accurate data in the HRIS.
- Lead the annual performance review processes, including appraisal cycles.
- Manage recruitment for investment, corporate and administrative hires.
- Coordinate key HR compliance activities, including regulatory certifications, mandatory training and FCA-related administration.
- Support annual talent and remuneration processes, including benchmarking and compensation schedules.
- Assist with annual budgeting and people-related reporting.
About You
We’re looking for an experienced HR generalist who enjoys being close to the detail and takes pride in delivering high-quality work. You’ll bring:
- Previous HR experience within Financial Services.
- Ideally from a small-midsized organisation therefore used to being hands on.
- Strong knowledge of HR operations and payroll coordination.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- A proactive, hands-on approach with a genuine sense of ownership.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build credibility across all levels of the business.
- Good Excel skills and experience working with HR systems.
