Employee Relations Manager Birmingham (Hybrid Working) A European professional services organisation is seeking an experienced Employee Relations Manager to join its People & Culture team during an exciting period of growth and transformation. This is an opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping a positive employee experience, providing expert advice on complex employee relations matters, and supporting the organisation's ambitious growth strategy. Reporting to the Head of People, you will act as the senior escalation point for employee relations matters across the business, managing a varied caseload including complex issues relating to performance, absence, disciplinary, grievance, organisational change and wider people initiatives. You will work closely with People colleagues and senior stakeholders, providing commercially focused, risk-based advice that balances legal compliance with positive business and employee outcomes. Managing complex employee relations cases from end to end, ensuring fair, timely and impartial resolution Identifying ER trends and using management information to inform proactive interventions and continuous improvement Coaching and developing managers to build capability and confidence in people matters Contributing to wider People projects and strategic initiatives Significant experience managing complex employee relations cases within a fast-paced environment Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to challenge constructively at all levels A pragmatic, commercially minded approach to risk and decision-making The successful candidate will join a collaborative, values-driven organisation that genuinely invests in its people in a supportive and inclusive culture with excellent learning and development opportunities.
