Senior Identity and Access Management (IAM) Engineer
Basingstoke, Hampshire – Hybrid (2 days in p/w)
middle has partnered exclusively with a key client to hire a strong Senior Identity and Access Management (IAM) Engineer. This Identity Engineer will support the Enterprise Architect to plan, design, and implement all projects within Identity Security.
In this role, you will have the independence to identify and implement new technologies, process improvements, or automation across the domain. You’ll have the opportunity to build the most intelligent, robust, and modern Identity (IAM) platform that can automate, protect, and deliver.
This role offers clear progression into an Architectural role or the option to continue with a hands-on engineering approach.
The ideal Principal IAM Engineer will have:
- 3+ years of previous Identity experience
- Previous experience managing end-to-end project management implementation
- Must have strong skills and experience in Entra ID/Azure Active Directory (Azure AD)
- Experience of working in a Cloud environment – ideally Microsoft Azure
- Strong with most of the Microsoft tech stack
- Ideally with experience using Privileged Access Management (PAM )
- Understanding of frameworks and protocols like OAuth 2.0, OpenID, and SAML
- Experience in spotting and fixing flaws internally
- Experience using network security concepts
- Be a great communicator ; from using resources in separate teams to speaking with suppliers or internal stakeholders
