middle is partnered exclusively with a fast-growing MSP (IT Consultancy) based in Hook to find a new 2nd Line IT Support Engineer. The business has been operating for 18 months and continues to grow rapidly, onboarding new clients every week. They are backed by a larger group entity but retain a start-up feel, making this an ideal environment for someone looking for autonomy, variety, and exposure across multiple client environments.
The Role
Youll be responsible for diagnosing and resolving technical issues across the client base, working across a busy service desk environment. This will include remote support as well as occasional onsite visits to local client sites when required. Youll act as an escalation point from 1st line, troubleshoot more complex issues, and ensure problems are resolved efficiently and documented clearly.
Ideal Skills & Experience
- Strong networking knowledge (routers, switches, connectivity)
- Previous MSP experience preferred; alternatively, experience in a fast-paced service desk environment
- Confident supporting both Windows and Mac environments
- Experience with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Exchange, and Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)
- Good understanding of documentation and ticketing best practice
- Hardware troubleshooting experience
- Telephony systems exposure
