The Role
Reporting to the Branch Manager, we are seeking an ambitious and motivated person to join the team in our Penrith Branch – NSW. The role requires a customer‑service‑focused, open‑to‑learning, career‑mindful individual.
Duties include:
- Assist with customer enquiries face‑to‑face and over the phone
- Counter sales, including customer development
- Follow up and provide notification of outstanding orders
- Maintain a professional store presentation
- Assist with receipt and dispatch of products
- Pick, pack, and deliver orders to customers
- Manage stock, including purchasing and inventory management
- Raise quotations and follow up on quotations
- Comply with company & customer QHSE standards & policies
- Contribute to continuous improvement
Required skills and attributes:
- Competent PC skills
- Professional personal presentation
- Customer service experience
- Strong attention to detail
- Willingness to learn new skills
- Confidence, desire to develop skills and knowledge
Industry experience is not essential; the role requires manual handling tasks and availability for occasional overtime. A forklift licence is preferred but not essential.
