We are recruiting Full-time and Flexible (Zero Hour contract) Domiciliary Care Workers and Support Workers for our services across:

  • Kent (Tonbridge)
  • Buckinghamshire (Aylesbury)
  • Northamptonshire (Kettering)
  • North London (Hendon)
  • Hertfordshire (St Albans, Hatfield, Hemel Hempstead)
  • Oxfordshire (Witney)
  • Bedfordshire (Luton)

As a Support Worker, you will be required to provide day-to-day support to vulnerable adults who have learning disabilities and/or mental health challenges, enabling them to live as independently as possible in our Supported Living services. You will safeguard and support Service Users in our care according to their care plan, following procedures to safeguard them. You will attend to any arising Service User queries, complaints, and challenges, including maintaining accurate, confidential and up-to-date documentation on all safeguarding cases. Other duties may include medication administration, personal care, meal preparation and feeding, cleaning and accompanying during visits in the community. Hours of Supported Living work will be allocated on a shift basis, covering day shifts, sleep-ins and waking night shifts.

What Experience And Qualifications Do You Need

  • Relevant work experience in a support worker or care worker role is desirable as full training is provided
  • A genuine passion for care
  • A strong team player
  • Resilience to keep going at difficult times and to ask for support when needed
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Computer literacy
  • NVQ 1/2 Health and Social Care Certificate (or equivalent) is desirable but not essential
  • A full UK driving licence is desirable but not required

All MidCo Care staff are required to have an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
