This is an exciting opportunity to work with a well-established family ran food manufacturer. We manufacture our own brand of cooking sauces, dressings and dips selling to restaurants, pubs, nursing homes, hotels, fast food chains and a variety of food distributors and foodservice wholesalers. We pride ourselves on the quality of product and have an excellent existing reputation within the Foodservice/OOH sector. We have seen significant growth in demand for our products over the last 2 years, and this has led us to developing ambitious plans to grow the team.

As a result, an opportunity has arisen for a Business Development Manager/Sales Manager to assist us with winning further new business with Foodservice customers across our Northern Region and developing a team in this area.

This is an exciting position, which will naturally evolve over the next 12 months. The role initially involves promoting our brands to end users over one of our key new distribution areas. This will involve pro-actively speaking to new foodservice customers and introducing our product to end users. Predominant market sectors we have particular success with include hotels, restaurants, food led pubs and leisure, but our product range really is comprehensive and is suitable for most types of Foodservice end users.

In addition to this, you will work closely in partnership with the distribution partner for the North – nurturing this relationship and forging a strong joint strategic partnership to promote the product range across the North. Although the role initially will be focused on direct development of the area, the position will evolve naturally to also involve management of a team of Field Sales professionals in the area.

The successful candidate will be a dynamic individual with experience in driving sales with Foodservice end users in the North. Candidates must have a proven track record in developing new business with Foodservice end users. We welcome candidates from both a manufacturer or wholesale background, although candidates must have experience at sales to chef level. Candidates with Field sales management experience will be of particular interest, although we also welcome candidates with regional sales experience with the drive and calibre to venture into team management.

To apply – please forward your details to Paul Haworth (Principal Consultant) – paul.haworth@midas-selection.com for further details.
