THE COMPANY: We are a well established Fine Foods wholesaler with a strong reputation in Foodservice for many years. With a Nationwide presence we have an excellent product portfolio across chilled, frozen and ambient ranges focusing on the needs of fine dining establishments. Our product range is of the highest quality with the most premium products across all categories being sourced from all over the world. The Hotel, restaurant and gastro pub sectors are key areas for us, although we service high end customers across all foodservice sectors. We are proud to count some of the most highest profile fine dining establishments as our customers, and have ambitious plans for further growth across the UK.
THE ROLE: This position involves responsibility for growth of a geographic territory via effective account management and new business. You will fully manage the account base across the region which predominantly consists of fine dining/high end Restaurants, hotels, pubs and leisure. You will be targeted on retention and growth of these accounts but also will focus on adding new accounts to the account base via effective new business. The position is extremely foodie in nature, and involves menu planning and food costing at Executive Chef level. The role comes with a strong bonus structure which is aimed at rewarding candidates who go that extra mile to develop their region.
THE APPLICANT: We are open to speaking to candidates from a Foodservice wholesale background, excited by an opportunity to further develop their career in the sector. Candidates must have a proven track record in Field Sales with Foodservice wholesale. Candidates with experience in sales to fine dining establishments will be of particular interest. Experience in seafood, butchery or fresh produce sales is also advantageous. We are also keen to speak to candidates from a mainstream wholesale background who would love to specialise in the fine dining sector. Candidates must be passionate about food and hospitality particularly in the area of Fine dining.
