THE COMPANY: We are an established Foodservice wholesaler with a turnover of over £100 Million and a strong reputation in the UK. We comprehensively supply Frozen, Chilled and ambient lines, and have a strong reputation for fresh produce. We are known for our strong quality of product and level of service. Our customer base spans across all of foodservice, with particular success within travel, hotel, pub, leisure and restaurant sectors. We pride ourselves on our positive and teamworking culture and our supportive and experienced management team. Due to a successful last 12 months of training, we are seeking to add dedicated field-based Foodservice Sales professionals to our team to support further growth with our existing customer base and add further new companies to our client portfolio.

THE ROLE: This role involves full management of accounts within a geographical area. You will be the main field-based contact for customers in your area, supported by an experienced customer service/telesales team. The account base consists of a variety of accounts across all foodservice areas, mostly independent or regional chains. Many accounts are currently customers purely on the Fresh produce side of our business, presenting an exciting opportunity to further grow share of wallet with Frozen, Chilled and ambient lines. You will also utilise your knowledge of Foodservice in the local area to generate new customers, which you will subsequently manage. There will be a realistic and strong commission scheme in place to reward success in growth of the area.

THE APPLICANT: We are open to speaking to candidates from a Foodservice wholesale background, excited by an opportunity to further develop their career in the sector. Candidates must have a proven track record in Field Sales with Foodservice wholesale. Candidates with experience in fresh produce, butchery or seafood will be of particular interest, although this is not essential. Candidates must be passionate about food and hospitality, effective team workers with a high activity rate and strong new business skills.
