Fantastic opportunity with a market leading Foodservice own brand manufacturer.

THE COMPANY: We are a market leader in contract manufacturing, established for over 50 years. With a multi million pounds turnover and future growth plans, we have grown extensively due to providing an extensive bespoke product range alongside a high level of service to our customers. We specialise in own brand manufacturing across a wide range of ambient product ranges. This is achieved through working specifically to client brief and working in partnership with our comprehensive network of global suppliers. Our products are supplied by Foodservice wholesalers across the UK and are found in many hospitality establishments including restaurants, pubs, contract catering, healthcare and education. We are fortunate to have a National Accounts team with a high level of experience in our field and due to sustained growth post pandemic, are seeking a strong NAM to add to our team to help us manage existing clients and support our growth plans.

THE ROLE: This position is an exciting blend of account management and new business. You will inherit an existing portfolio of established accounts, most of which are Foodservice wholesalers or Food Manufacturers, but there may also be some work with HORECA/Foodservice end user chains. You will be involved in complex contracted tender processes involving a high level of NPD and fully manage all commercial areas with your account base. This also involves working with internal colleagues to source globally the best solutions for your clients from product to transport and logistics. The account base will be a mix of Foodservice wholesalers and food manufacturers, although it can be tailored to your experience and expertise. You will also be responsible for working towards a new business target and bringing on new customers to the organisation. This is a fantastic opportunity for a candidate who loves to work as part of a team but is also able to work autonomously supported by a positive management culture. We are able to be flexible with home/hybrid working for experienced individuals.

THE APPLICANT: We are seeking to speak to candidates with a proven track record in Foodservice National Accounts with experience in own brand product ranges. Candidates must have a proven track record at National Account level either selling own brand solutions to Foodservice wholesale or to Food Manufacturers. Candidates must be experienced at working to own brand briefs and managing complex tender processes involving NPD. Candidates with experience selling Food ingredients to manufacturers at National Account level will also be considered.
