Security Engineer / Installer

Midlands Based | Up to £42,000 + Excellent Package | Permanent

We’re partnering with a growing and well‑established security solutions provider who are looking to recruit an experienced Security Engineer / Installer into their engineering team. This is a remote, Midlands‑based role with no travel outside your region, offering stability, work–life balance, and genuine development opportunities.

The Role

As a key member of the engineering team, you will:

• Install and commission intruder alarms, CCTV and access control systems
• Carry out servicing, preventative maintenance and efficient fault‑finding
• Ensure all work aligns with BS EN 50131, PD 6662, SSAIB/NSI and GDPR requirements
• Deliver clear system guidance and excellent customer service to clients
• Complete accurate job sheets, reports and compliance documentation
• Work closely with operations and support junior engineers when required

About You

We are looking for:

• A minimum of three years’ experience working on intruder alarms, CCTV and access control
• Strong technical knowledge of IP/analogue CCTV, fault diagnosis and commissioning
• A solid understanding of relevant industry regulations and compliance standards
• Full UK driving licence and the ability to pass a DBS check
• Strong communication skills, excellent organisation, and a customer‑focused approach
