A rewarding opportunity has arisen for an experienced cook to work within a busy kitchen at an activity centre for young children and adults.
You will be a key member of the catering team to ensure that the catering operations runs smoothly and efficiently during breakfast, lunch and dinner times. You will prepare, cook and serve food for approx. 1200, always adhering to procedures. Maintain high standards of cleanliness, temperature checks and allergy management.
The role is working 5 days out of 7, 42 hours per week with overtime available. Shift patterns will either be 5.30am - 1.30pm or 1.30pm - 8.30pm. Christmas off!
The ideal applicant will have:
- Experience as a Chef from a high-volume background
- Some experience managing or supervising in a busy environment
- Qualifications: Level 2 Food Safety and allergen management, City & Guilds 706 1 and 2 or NVQ equivalent
- Supervisory qualification preferred
This role is subject to a DBS check which is subsidised by the client.
