Are you a talented Senior Sous Chef looking for your next challenge in a premium food led environment? My client, one of the UK's leading bespoke contract caterers, is seeking an exceptional Senior Sous Chef to join their flagship conference centre operation. This is a rare opportunity to work in a kitchen where everything is prepared fresh from scratch, creativity is encouraged, and food quality is at the heart of everything you do.

The Role

Supporting the Head Chef, you'll play a key role in delivering outstanding food experiences across high profile conferences, events, and hospitality services. You'll lead from the front, inspire the brigade, and ensure every dish reflects the high standards my client is renowned for.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Assisting in the leadership and development of a talented kitchen team.
  • Producing exceptional fresh food using quality, seasonal ingredients.
  • Creating innovative menus that reflect current food trends and customer expectations.
  • Maintaining the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency.
  • Supporting food cost management, stock control, and kitchen compliance.
  • Delivering outstanding hospitality and conference catering experiences, from small events to conferences for 200.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience as a Senior Sous Chef or an experienced Sous Chef ready to step up.
  • Strong fresh food background with a genuine passion for cooking from scratch.
  • Knowledge of modern food trends, seasonal menus, and contemporary presentation styles.
  • Excellent leadership and team development skills.
  • High standards of food safety and kitchen management.
  • A positive, hands-on approach and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Personality and a genuine passion for food is key!!

In return, you will be working with a very supportive Chef Manager and a long standing team of creative chefs in a beautiful setting!!
