A CAD Kitchen Designer is required for a professional and dynamic client in the North West. Candidates could be based in Manchester, Bolton, Blackburn, Huddersfield, Rochdale, Oldham, Leeds, Warrington, Liverpool, Stafford, or Crewe.

Salary: £40,000 - £55,000 basic depending on experience, plus a 15% bonus, pension, and 25 days holiday. This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, with one day per week in the office and the rest working from home.

The Opportunity:

We are looking for a creative and technically skilled AutoCAD Kitchen Designer to lead the design of high-end hospitality, restaurant, retail, and catering projects. This hybrid role combines front-of-house interior design with detailed commercial kitchen layout and CAD production.

The Role:

  • Lead concept and technical design for interiors, serveries, and kitchens.
  • Produce detailed AutoCAD drawings (Revit/BIM training available); other related experience of 3D design software is acceptable.
  • Have influence over equipment schedules, specifications, and quotation packs.
  • Collaborate with clients, project managers, sales teams, and suppliers.
  • Ensure designs comply with health, safety, and building regulations.
  • Contribute to the growth of the design function, including mentoring junior designers and contributing to design standards.

The Applicant:

  • Enthusiastic commercial kitchen designer with a minimum of 2 years' experience in 3D Design.
  • Experience in the foodservice or catering equipment sectors is desirable, but other backgrounds including construction may be considered.
  • Strong concept and technical detailing skills.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD; Revit/BIM experience is a bonus (training provided).
  • Knowledge of kitchen workflows, M&E coordination, and FF&E specification would be advantageous.
