LOCATION: Lancaster, Preston, Morecombe, Blackpool, Barrow
THE COMPANY: We are a leading Foodservice seafood wholesaler with offices in the North West of England. We have been established for many years and have a strong reputation with Foodservice operators for the quality and diversity of our product range, in addition to high levels of service. Our customers cover a wide cross section of the Foodservice sector, with pubs, hotels, leisure and restaurants representing key focus areas. Our pro-active procurement team have strong relationships with seafood suppliers globally allowing us to source specific products for our customers and gain the best pricing and quality on their behalf. As a company we pride ourselves on our company culture - a family orientated business but within its fabric a wealth of experience of the seafood sector. We have plans for steady growth over forthcoming years and are seeking to add talent to our team to assist with taking us to the next level.
THE ROLE: This position is a key part of our Senior leadership structure and has key importance in driving business growth. You will be responsible for a Field Sales team selling seafood into the foodservice sector. This will involve performance management, coaching, driving strategy and working with other teams internally including operations to ensure a strong level of service is provided to customers once on board. You will also be directly involved with securing and maintaining multi site and chain accounts in the area. You will be targeted on growth of turnover alongside mainly strong margin and service levels. This is an extremely strategic role where you will work closely with operations, procurement and senior management. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate who wants to work in a role where they can really have a voice and be impactful to achieve results.
THE APPLICANT: The successful candidate will be a strong sales leader with experience within the foodservice sector. Candidates must have a proven track record in leadership of a Foodservice field sales team. Candidates with a background in Seafood will be of particular interest. We also welcome senior leadership from other areas of foodservice sales. Experience at Director level is of particular interest, although we will also consider candidates.
