THE COMPANY
We are a market leader in supplying Fresh Produce to the Foodservice sector. As a well established business we pride ourselves on the level of professional and specialism we are able to provide to chefs within commercial kitchens. We work with suppliers globally to secure the highest quality of fresh produce and provide an exceptional level of service in order to be a valued partner to our customer base. Our customer base is predominantly high end dining across restaurant, hotels, private members clubs, leisure and contract catering sectors. With a National supply network we work with chefs across the UK.
Due to recent success at National Account level we are seeking to strengthen our National Accounts team with the addition of a strong commercial Foodservice account manager/controller.
THE ROLE
This role involves strategic management of our National Account sector both directly and via a team. You will manage 3 sales personnel within the team who are responsible for managing and developing our national account customers. These customers are predominantly across hotels, restaurants and contract catering national customers. You will support the team on tenders and complex negotiations to ensure retention and growth of these accounts. You will also work closely with procurement on pricing and product availability, often on a bespoke nature with customers. In addition to this you will be involved in tendering for renewed and new contracts with customers within the sector. This is a key role within our organisation and involves a high level of both man management and account management.
THE APPLICANT
We are open to speaking to candidates with a proven track record in Foodservice National Accounts. Candidates must have an established background in National Accounts within the Foodservice sector. Candidates must have a proven track record of winning and managing complex National Foodservice accounts. Experience in managing National Account Managers would be advantageous although not essential. Experience in Fresh Produce would be of interest but we are open to candidates of all foodservice product areas.
