THE ROLE: This position is a key role within our National Accounts structure and involves supporting with the development of accounts within our contract catering division. You will be responsible for maintaining and developing relationships across the Midlands and North and supporting with further growth with Contract Caterers with which we are on their National Framework. The focus of the role is to develop relationships at site level ensuring a strong trusted relationship so that in the event of any catering equipment needs we are the chosen supplier. This involves a mix of new and existing business although there is no cold calling involved. The role also involves full management of several small/medium contract caterers, where you will liaise at buyer level with these clients to manage all commercial areas. The role involves a combination of days where you will be in the field visiting clients and home based days. This is a fantastic opportunity for a candidate with foodservice experience seeking to develop their career into national account level.
THE APPLICANT: We are seeking to speak to candidates with strong field sales experience within the foodservice sector. Candidates must have field sales experience selling to the hospitality sector. Experience of sales within catering equipment or disposables will be of particular interest. Candidates with a background in food wholesale or food manufacturing to end users will also be welcomed. Candidates must have experience selling to end users as opposed to purely via distribution. Candidates must have a thorough, structured approach to account management and strong IT and reporting skills.
