THE COMPANY

We are a market leader in supplying Fresh Produce to the Foodservice sector. As a well-established business, we pride ourselves on the level of professional and specialism we are able to provide to chefs within commercial kitchens. We work with suppliers globally to secure the highest quality of fresh produce and provide an exceptional level of service in order to be a valued partner to our customer base. Our customer base is predominantly high-end dining across restaurant, hotels, private members clubs, leisure and contract catering sectors. With a National supply network, we work with chefs across the UK. Due to a highly successful start to the financial year, we are looking to make a further addition to our Field Sales team.

THE ROLE

This position involves full responsibility for managing a territory of Foodservice end user customers. The role involves both account management and new business and is targeted on overall growth of the area. The account base is very much fine dining orientated, with the majority of the clients being hotels and restaurants. Contact level across these accounts can vary including Exec Chefs, Owners and buyers. Due to the nature and extent of our range, the process is extremely “foodie” with our team expected to really get to know the client’s menus and requirements in order to be able to make recommendations suitable for their requirements. We have strong beliefs in developing relationships with our customers and having a passionate approach in regards to high quality food.

THE APPLICANT

We are open to speaking to candidates with a proven track record in Foodservice field sales. Candidates must have strong experience of managing Foodservice accounts across the London area. Candidates with experience of managing accounts across fine dining (Michelin Star/Rosette establishments will be of particular interest). A proven foodservice wholesale background across other disciplines (Butchery, seafood, bakery of particular relevance) will also be advantageous. Candidates with a previous background as a chef or in a catering environment prior to field sales will also be welcomed.
