THE COMPANY: We are the bakery division of a large successful UK food manufacturing group and specialise in the manufacturing a full range of bakery products covering both savoury and sweet areas. Our Foodservice division has been established as a market leader for a number of years and during this time has developed strong relationships across the UK with both Foodservice wholesalers and Foodservice end users. Our product range is of the highest quality and covers almost all areas of bakery and desserts. You will find our products in major UK Foodservice outlets including restaurants, pubs, contract catering and QSR. We place high value on our NPD and consistently ensure that our range embodies both traditional, popular longstanding lines alongside new innovative products that mirror current Foodservice market trends. We are a people friendly company to work for and pride ourselves on enabling our sales team to maintain a healthy work life balance and to be part of a successful close knit team. We are looking to add to our Foodservice sales team for 2025.
THE ROLE: This position is an exciting opportunity to fully manage the marketing strategy for one of our key Foodservice brands. You will be fully responsible for the marketing of a portfolio of own brand and branded products to our clients in the Foodservice sector. This includes both our Foodservice wholesale and distribution partners and also the key end user chains we work with. Responsibilities include:
- Managing the overall marketing plan
- Organising and attending trade shows
- Working internally with NPD and Sales teams to promote products
- Trade marketing and digital marketing (supported by our outsourced partner in this area)
You will work to a marketing calendar, but also have a high volume of input into the direction of the brand on a short and long term basis. This is a fantastic role, working with some amazing and leading products and is a great opportunity for someone to play a key part in promoting our product range.
THE APPLICANT: We are looking to speak to candidates with a passion for food, who enjoy working collaboratively internally and with strong B2B Marketing experience. Candidates must have experience in B2B marketing with any connection to Food or Foodservice being of strong interest. Candidates with B2B Marketing experience in other sectors will also be welcomed with strong preference towards candidates with experience in marketing a product. Experience in a role fully managing all areas of the marketing strategy and process will be of particular interest. We are also keen to speak to candidates who have worked for organisations where they have managed parts of the marketing process (i.e. Digital) who would love to step up into a more full marketing position.
