Preventative Maintenance Engineer(Monday to Friday)
The Opportunity
We are working with a leading manufacturer of coffee machines, due to exciting expansion, we are looking to increase the size of our engineering team substantially in 2025. We are seeking Preventative Maintenance Engineers throughout the UK across different locations.
The Role
The machines are mainly located in key retail sites and also possibly within hotels and hospitality venues. The role focuses on you working with a pre-planned maintenance program, fitting specific parts and checking other components and replacing from spare van parts as necessary. Descaling boilers and pipework are critical as is the replacement of water filters. You will also be responsible for operator training (operation and cleaning of equipment), you will manage spare parts stock in the van and report any faults outside of the PPM service to the senior engineer. Training is provided for those interested in upskilling this role to full field coffee engineer status.
£28,000 – £30,000 Basic Salary – depending on experience
Door to door paid, overtime is available (weekly and weekends), company van available for private use, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, 3% bonus potential, very impressive 10% non-contributory pension plan, plus private health and sick pay and lots of training and development.
The Candidate
We are looking for a preventative maintenance engineer with basic mechanical and electronic or electrical knowledge, with a full driving license. A knowledge of drinks machinery would be advantageous but not a necessity. You will have carried out preventative maintenance schedules on other types of electromechanical equipment either on site or in the field. You will be professional in nature and be able to represent the business in a customer facing environment. You must also possess good organization and problem solving skills.
