43 weeks, 30 hours per week, 7.30am - 2/2.30pm

Our client is a UK-based multi-academy trust supporting both primary and secondary schools, with a strong commitment to promoting healthy eating habits and encouraging pupils to enjoy high-quality school meals.
The Role
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a motivated Kitchen Supervisor to look after their newly fitted catering facilities in a lovely school in the Clacton area. You will be working with two other catering assistants, providing 160 children delicious, healthy meals. This is a hands-on role, which will involve menu planning, food preparation, ordering supplies and ensuring all food hygiene and H&S standards are upheld.
The Person
You will come from a catering/cooking background, with supervisory or some management experience of a small team. You will have experience of ordering stock, H&S, motivating your team and menu planning. This is a great role if you are looking to gain experience within an education environment. You will hold a level 3 food safety qualification or equivalent, have strong organisational and communication skills and work well within a small, but committed team.
This role requires a DBS check which will be paid for by the employer.
