A rewarding opportunity has arisen for an experienced cook to work within a busy kitchen at an activity centre for young children and adults.
You will be a key member of the catering team to ensure that the catering operations run smoothly and efficiently during breakfast, lunch and dinner times. You will prepare, cook and serve food for approximately 1200, always adhering to procedures. Maintain high standards of cleanliness, temperature checks and allergy management.
The role is working 5 days out of 7, 42 hours per week with overtime available. Shift patterns will either be 5.30am - 1.30pm or 1.30pm - 8.30pm. Christmas off!
The ideal applicant:
- We are looking for an experienced Chef from a high-volume background, with some experience managing or supervising in a busy environment.
- An enhanced DBS check is required.
- We would welcome candidates from the MOD, Contract Catering, large Event and Wedding venues, large busy pub chains.
- Qualifications: Level 2 Food Safety and allergen management, City & Guilds 706 1 and 2 or NVQ equivalent, Supervisory qualification preferred.
