We are recruiting for a
Technical Support Engineer to join a leading manufacturer of professional coffee and vending equipment.
This is a fantastic opportunity to step away from a fully field-based position and join a friendly technical team based at the company's UK headquarters.
You'll use your technical knowledge to support field engineers, distributors and customers, providing expert advice, troubleshooting complex faults and delivering technical training on a range of premium coffee and vending equipment.
There will also be occasional travel within the UK, Ireland and Europe for product training, technical support and exhibitions.
The Role
- Provide telephone, email and remote technical support to engineers, distributors and customers.
- Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults on traditional espresso, bean-to-cup and vending equipment.
- Support equipment installations, commissioning and product upgrades.
- Deliver technical training to engineers, service partners and customers.
- Monitor machine performance using telemetry and remote diagnostic systems.
- Record technical cases and provide accurate technical documentation.
- Support product demonstrations, exhibitions and technical workshops.
- Work closely with the Technical Manager and wider UK team to deliver an excellent customer experience.
About You
We're looking for someone with experience working on coffee machines, vending equipment or similar electro‑mechanical products.
You will ideally have
- Experience servicing and repairing traditional espresso, bean‑to‑cup or vending machines.
- Strong electrical and mechanical fault‑finding skills.
- Previous experience as a Field Service Engineer or Technical Support Engineer.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Experience using remote diagnostics or telemetry systems (desirable).
- Experience delivering technical training (desirable).
- Full UK driving licence.
