Field Based Engineer Calibration Basic £40,000 to £44,000 plus quarterly bonus, company van, pension, health and benefits. Yorkshire East Midlands:- Leeds, Bradford, Wakefield, Barnsley, Sheffield, York, Doncaster, Ripon, Halifax, Huddersfield, Chesterfield, Derbyshire The Opportunity We are working with a leading provider of calibration services for electrical and electronic devices, in a variety of industry sectors, encompassing a varied manufacturing base as well as the healthcare sector. The Role To be clear this role does require extensive travel across the South Midlands and South West of the UK and to Southern Ireland. Workload is scheduled up to 4-6 weeks in advance and it might be 2 or 3 short appointments in a day for half a dozen machines, or it might be 10 machines in a hospital spanning a week of work. The workload is realistic and manageable and so are the expectations of the business. The Desired Candidate We are looking for a field engineer who is experienced at calibrating electrical/electronic equipment, you might work for a calibration service provider, or you might work for a test and measurement equipment provider.
