Location – UK but flexible to airports and motorway networks for international travel.

The Opportunity
This is an exciting and wide-ranging opportunity, working for a group of 10 global manufacturers with operations in America, Asia and Europe. The business manufactures a range of test and measurement equipment with associated services and provides these solutions to end users in sectors such as Transport, Renewable Energy, Construction, Healthcare to name a few, and these are sold via distribution partners across these territories.
The Role
This role focuses on the UK market strategy for sales via distribution partners in a number of segments of business and industry, along with a focus on the European footprint for the same. Existing partners exist and some fabulous results derive from these existing relationships which will be nurtured by you, but the role is focused on market analysis and gap analysis to assess trends and future market opportunities, analyzing product offering, pricing, and feeding back to product management teams and sales teams. The role will shape sales strategy in a domestic country by country level, and you will be involved with local country sales teams across Europe optimizing local and global potential.
The Applicant
You will have a technical understanding of electrically biased products or solutions or at least be of technical persuasion. You will be a strategic thinker and long-term planner with a strong background in business development and growth strategies for immature markets. You will have a strong background in Export sales or international sales and be highly flexible with international travel. You will not be fazed by working with different group companies and decision makers in different country locations, so experience of a matrix model may be advantageous.
