THE COMPANY: We are an established international software provider with a strong and developing presence in the UK. Based in London, our software product range is highly innovative and is designed for the specific needs of Foodservice wholesale customers. Our solution is tailored towards the fast-paced environment of Foodservice, in particular wholesalers who operate in a trading environment with short shelf life produce such as Fresh Produce, Butchery and Seafood. The solution provides efficient connection between purchasing, stock control, online ordering, inventory, pricing and ongoing customer management enabling our customers to be as effective as possible to operate within a fast-paced foodservice environment. As a company, we pride ourselves on being a great company and team to work within and have strong growth plans for the next 12 months.
THE ROLE: This position is focused around developing new business with Foodservice wholesale operators. A large proportion of these will be in the London area, although the role does have travel nationally. You will be responsible for developing initial relationships at IT Manager/Owner/MD Level and to ascertain the companies' needs in terms of CRM/Customer Management and Purchasing IT systems. Many of the target customer base will be wholesalers across fresh produce, butchery, seafood and other short life foodservice shelf life products although we also successfully work with mainstream wholesalers. You will be involved in securing contracts for our software and then onboarding and managing key commercial relationships with the accounts subsequently. This is a great opportunity for a candidate who has strong sales experience in Foodservice but is technically minded and would thrive in a role with a strong bonus/commission structure to reward success.
THE APPLICANT: The successful candidate will have strong new business skills and in-depth experience of the UK Foodservice sector.
