A hospitality design and commercial fit-out company is seeking a BIM Manager to lead and develop BIM across the business. This role involves taking ownership of BIM delivery on live hospitality, commercial kitchen, and fit-out projects while building a long-term BIM strategy for the company.
The successful candidate will play a key role in establishing BIM standards, driving digital transformation, building a BIM team, and leading the business towards ISO 19650 accreditation. The goal is to position the company as the UK's leading BIM-enabled hospitality design and fit-out specialist.
The Role:
- Lead BIM delivery across live hospitality, catering, and commercial fit-out projects
- Develop and manage BIM Execution Plans (BEPs)
- Coordinate BIM models, clash detection, and model quality across projects
- Ensure compliance with ISO 19650, BIM protocols, client standards, and Employer's Information Requirements (EIRs)
- Manage BIM models and project information through Common Data Environments (CDEs)
- Act as the main BIM contact for clients, consultants, project teams, and suppliers
- Develop company BIM standards, workflows, templates, and best practices
- Lead the company's to ISO 19650 accreditation
- Build, mentor, and develop a BIM team as the business grows
- Deliver BIM training and support to internal design teams
- Manage BIM software, systems, and digital delivery processes
- Monitor BIM performance and report progress to senior management
- Support the company's ambition to become the industry leader in BIM for hospitality design and fit-out
The Applicant:
- Relevant qualification in BIM, Architectural Technology, Construction, Engineering, or a related discipline
- Proven experience as a BIM Manager, BIM Lead, or Senior BIM Coordinator
- Strong knowledge of ISO 19650 and the UK BIM Framework
- Proficient in Revit, Navisworks, and Common Data Environment (CDE) platforms
- Experience delivering BIM on live construction, fit-out, or building services projects
- Strong understanding of BIM coordination, clash detection, and information management
- Experience creating BIM standards, BIM Execution Plans (BEPs), and workflows
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Knowledge of COBie, IFC workflows, and Asset Information Models (AIMs) would be beneficial
- Experience within hospitality, commercial kitchens, foodservice, or commercial fit-out sectors would be preferred although construction will be considered
- Experience leading or supporting ISO 19650 implementation or accreditation would be advantageous
