A rewarding opportunity has arisen for an experienced Catering Manager to oversee a busy catering operation at an activity centre for young children and adults.
The Role
- You will ensure that the dining room runs smoothly and efficiently during breakfast, lunch and dinner times.
- You will ensure you and your team of catering assistants maintain high standards of cleanliness and monitoring due diligence.
- The guest experience is paramount, so regularly walking the floor, capturing feedback, responding to any enquiries and complaints is essential.
- Liaising with the kitchen team daily to ensure meal times run seamlessly.
- The role is working 5 days out of 7, 42 hours per week.
The ideal applicant
- We are looking for an experienced Catering Manager from a high-volume background, with experience of managing large teams and working within a busy environment.
- You will have a high attention to detail; the ability to organise and communicate is key.
- We would welcome candidates from the MOD, Contract Catering, large Event and Wedding venues, large busy pub chains.
- An enhanced DBS check is required.
- Management qualifications and proven experience of coaching and mentoring your team.
