The Role

As a Junior Compositor, you will work alongside experienced compositors and supervisors to integrate live-action and CG elements into final shots. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their skills on high-profile productions while learning from an experienced team.

Responsibilities

  • Composite live-action, CG, matte painting and effects elements into final shots.
  • Perform keying, roto, paint, tracking and basic colour work.
  • Follow creative and technical direction from Leads and Supervisors.
  • Maintain consistency and quality across sequences.
  • Troubleshoot compositing issues and contribute solutions.
  • Work collaboratively with artists across multiple departments.
  • Deliver work that meets production schedules and technical requirements.

Requirements

  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of Nuke.
  • Understanding of compositing fundamentals including colour space, keying, roto, tracking and integration.
  • Strong artistic eye for detail, lighting, colour and realism.
  • Good problem-solving skills and willingness to learn.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • A showreel demonstrating roto, paint and compositing work with breakdowns.
