Midas VFX is looking for an experienced CG Supervisor to lead the delivery of high-end CG work across film and television projects. Working closely with production, VFX Supervisors and department leads, you will oversee the creative and technical direction of CG sequences from concept through final delivery.
As CG Supervisor, you will:
- Lead the planning and execution of CG work across multiple projects
- Work with VFX Supervisors and clients to define the creative direction for shots and sequences
- Supervise look development, lighting, FX, environments and asset creation
- Review work with artists and provide clear, constructive feedback
- Help define efficient workflows and technical approaches
- Work closely with production to support scheduling and resource planning
- Ensure work is delivered to the highest visual and technical standards
- Support bidding and methodology for new projects
Requirements
- Significant experience in a CG Supervisor, CG Lead or Senior CG role within film or episodic television
- Strong understanding of the full CG pipeline
- Experience across environments, lighting, lookdev, FX and rendering
- Excellent artistic eye and strong technical understanding
- Experience working with Maya, Houdini, Vray
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with both creative and production teams
