As a Junior Compositor, you will work alongside experienced compositors and supervisors to integrate live-action and CG elements into final shots. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their skills on high-profile productions while learning from an experienced team.
Responsibilities
- Composite live-action, CG, matte painting and effects elements into final shots.
- Perform keying, roto, paint, tracking and basic colour work.
- Follow creative and technical direction from Leads and Supervisors.
- Maintain consistency and quality across sequences.
- Troubleshoot compositing issues and contribute solutions.
- Work collaboratively with artists across multiple departments.
- Deliver work that meets production schedules and technical requirements.
Requirements
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of Nuke.
- Understanding of compositing fundamentals including colour space, keying, roto, tracking and integration.
- Strong artistic eye for detail, lighting, colour and realism.
- Good problem-solving skills and willingness to learn.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A showreel demonstrating roto, paint and compositing work with breakdowns.
