Midas VFX is looking for an experienced VFX Producer to join our growing team. Working across high-end film and television projects, you will be responsible for overseeing shows from award through final delivery, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget and to the highest creative standard. This is a key role within the company, working closely with clients, supervisors, artists and production to help guide projects through every stage of the VFX pipeline.
As VFX Producer, you will:
- Manage projects from bid and award through to final delivery
- Build and maintain schedules, budgets and resource plans
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients and internal teams
- Work closely with VFX Supervisors and Heads of Department to plan and track work
- Coordinate with production, artists and external vendors to ensure smooth delivery
- Run client calls, reviews and status meetings
- Track shot progress, flag risks early and help solve problems before they impact the schedule
- Monitor project scope and manage change requests where required
- Ensure projects are delivered to the highest creative and technical standards
- Support bidding, crewing and future planning across multiple shows
We are looking for someone who has:
- Previous experience as a VFX Producer, Senior Production Manager or similar role in film or episodic television
- Strong understanding of the VFX pipeline across 2D and CG
- Experience managing budgets, schedules and client relationships
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- The ability to stay calm and solutions focused under pressure
- Strong leadership skills and experience managing production teams
- A collaborative approach and a genuine passion for visual effects
- Experience with Flow/ShotGrid, Excel and production tracking tools
- The ability to manage multiple projects and priorities at once
