Midas VFX is looking for talented Roto/Paint Artists to join our London team. Working across high-end film and television productions, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional roto, paint, clean-up, rig removal, beauty, and preparation work to support our compositing and visual effects teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce accurate and efficient rotoscoping for complex live-action footage.
- Perform paint and clean-up tasks including wire removals, rig removals, marker removals, and set clean-up.
- Create seamless invisible effects and continuity fixes.
- Assist with beauty and cosmetic visual effects work where required.
- Prepare plates and elements for downstream compositing workflows.
- Work closely with Compositors, Leads, and Supervisors to achieve the highest quality standards.
- Deliver work efficiently while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
- Follow established studio workflows and technical requirements.
Requirements
- Previous experience working in a professional VFX environment.
- Strong roto and paint skills within Nuke.
- Excellent attention to detail and eye for image quality.
- Understanding of tracking, compositing, and plate preparation workflows.
- Ability to work efficiently under production schedules and deadlines.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Positive attitude and willingness to collaborate within a team environment.
