We are recruiting for an experienced Engineering & Maintenance Manager to join an established manufacturing business in Lancashire.
This is a senior, hands-on management role with responsibility for engineering and maintenance activities across a busy operational site. You will lead and develop the engineering and maintenance function, ensuring equipment, facilities and infrastructure remain safe, reliable and effective.
The role
You will be responsible for:
Leading and developing a multi-skilled engineering and maintenance team.
Managing planned, preventative and reactive maintenance activities.
Improving equipment reliability, availability and overall maintenance performance.
Planning engineering resources, priorities and workloads.
Supporting plant improvement, engineering and capital projects.
Managing contractors and external engineering support.
Maintaining appropriate engineering, maintenance and compliance records.
Working closely with production, operations, HSE and other departments.
