As General Manager you will report into the Board of Directors. With full P&L responsibility for the UK operation you will lead and manage the day-to-day running of the business, increasing profitability and building a solid platform across the business for sustained profit and growth.
Your areas of responsibility will include:

You will review and define the strategic direction of the business creating a 3, 5 and 10 year business plan to map out the future direction of the business with key focus on enabling the business to be the industry's leader. Other responsibilities will be to instill a positive culture across the business, improve operational functionality and communications and ensure they have lean systems in place to ensure maximum output and increased profit.
Skills, Experience and Abilities
You will be a commercially focused business leader with P&L responsibility. You will be currently working as a Managing Director or General Manager in manufacturing and have in-depth experience and knowledge in manufacturing with a proven track record of successfully defining and implementing commercial strategies, lean operations, concepts and methodologies across single and multi-site operations. With expertise in sales and operations, change and project management, ISO systems compliance you will be able to lead senior management teams in the delivery of the business strategy.
