Excellent opportunity in Sales of Fresh Produce to the Foodservice sector.

THE COMPANY: We are an established company specialising in the sales of fresh produce to the Foodservice sector. Originating as a family company we have grown over the years to have a multimillion pounds turnover and ambitious plans to grow further over the next 12 months. Strong company culture and service to customers is high on our beliefs as a company – and we have many employees who have worked with us for a number of years, and also foodservice end users who have been customers of ours for over a decade. We pride ourselves on the flexibility of our service, with daily delivery including bank holidays and a strong level of quality with our produce. We are also able to source specific product areas for Chefs to meet their menu requirements. We aim to provide a positive experience for our customers, who know they can rely on us for the highest level of product and service. Due to expansion we are seeking to expand our Field Sales team via the addition of further Foodservice experienced personnel.

THE ROLE: This role involves full sales management of accounts across a designated territory. The role is predominantly field based and you will inherit a successful and established ledger of accounts. However, this account base also has strong potential for further growth, so part of the role is to further cement these relationships and also explore further share of wallet with these customers. In addition to this we are ambitious in securing further new customers within the Foodservice sector. Our predominant historical customer base includes both independent and national pubs and restaurants, but recently we have also successfully grown other foodservice areas including contract catering, education, hotels and leisure. We aim to strongly reward our field sales team, so the role is accompanied by a fair and lucrative commission scheme rewarding overall growth of sales across the area.

THE APPLICANT: We are seeking to speak to candidates with a proven track record in Field Sales within the Foodservice sector.

  • Candidates must have a proven track record in Foodservice field sales.
  • Candidates with a background in Fresh produce will be of strong interest.
  • Experience of a short shelf life product into Foodservice (i.e. Butchery, Seafood) will also be advantageous.
  • A culinary background prior to field sales will also be welcomed.
