THE COMPANY
We are an established company specialising in the sales of fresh produce to the Foodservice sector.
THE ROLE
This role involves full sales management of accounts across a designated territory. The role is predominantly field based and you will inherit a successful and established ledger of accounts. However, this account base also has strong potential for further growth, so part of the role is to further cement these relationships and also explore further share of wallet with these customers. In addition to this we are ambitious in securing further new customers within the Foodservice sector. Our predominant historical customer base includes both independent and national pubs and restaurants, but recently we have also successfully grown other foodservice areas including contract catering, education, hotels and leisure. We aim to strongly reward our field sales team, so the role is accompanied by a fair and lucrative commission scheme rewarding overall growth of sales across the area.
THE APPLICANT
- Proven track record in Foodservice field sales
- Background in Fresh produce is of strong interest
- Experience with short shelf life product into Foodservice (e.g. Butchery, Seafood) will also be advantageous
- Culinary background prior to field sales will also be welcomed
