THE COMPANY:
We are an established Foodservice wholesaler with a strong reputation for quality and exceptional service across the East of England. We are continuing to regrow post pandemic and have ambitious plans for 2023. This involves the hiring of several new account managers to support with management and development of Foodservice accounts. We appreciate the importance of this diverse range which allows us to provide a one stop solution to clients in both the profit and cost sector including pubs, clubs, restaurants, hotels, education and healthcare. We pride ourselves on being an excellent company to work for which is mirrored in the stability of our sales force. Due to continued growth of our business through acquisition, we are seeking to add to our successful sales team a further strong foodservice industry sales professional.
THE ROLE:
As an Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for a portfolio of between (Apply online only) foodservice accounts. You will have full responsibility for cross selling and upselling to this account base in addition to undertaking new business to add further clients. Most of the success in this role will be through effective menu planning and food costing at head chef or contract catering manager level. You will be based from home and be responsible for your own journey plan but will also be expected to be a team player and work towards overall company promotions and objectives in addition to your own targets.
THE APPLICANT:
- The successful candidate will be a strong sales professional with experience in man management within the Foodservice sector.
- Candidates must have strong Field Sales Management skills within the Foodservice sector.
- Candidates must have extensive sales experience in Foodservice preferably within a wholesale environment.
- A background in Foodservice Wholesale is strongly advantageous.
- Candidates with a Sales Management background in other Foodservice areas will also be welcomed.
