The Opportunity
A rewarding opportunity has arisen for an experienced Catering Manager to oversee a busy catering operation at an activity centre for young children and adults.
The Role
You will ensure that the kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently during breakfast, lunch, and dinner times. You will be responsible for leading and motivating your team, which includes chefs and catering assistants. The menu is pre-designed for each mealtime and must be adhered to. Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and due diligence is essential.
The role involves working 5 days out of 7, totaling 42 hours per week, with overtime available. Shift patterns are either 5:30am β 1:30pm or 1:30pm β 8:30pm.
Ideal Candidate
We are seeking an experienced Catering, Kitchen, or Chef Manager with a background in high-volume environments, managing large teams, and working within a busy setting.
An enhanced DBS check is required.
Candidates from MOD, Contract Catering, large Event and Wedding venues, large busy pub chains are encouraged to apply. The following qualifications are preferred:
- Level 3 Food Safety and Allergen Management
- City & Guilds 706 1 and 2 or NVQ equivalent
- Management qualifications with proven coaching and mentoring experience
