A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Development Chef to join an established contract catering provider, specialising in delivering high-quality school meals that fuel young minds and promote healthy living. The role is brand‑new, working with the Head of Food to transform the catering offering and innovate menus across schools, elevating lunch times.
The Role
As Development Chef, you will play a pivotal role in the company. You will be the creative culinary force, introducing new, exciting, cost‑effective dishes that reflect current food trends. You will collaborate with catering teams across the regions to ensure the delivery of the highest standards of food quality, embracing a culture of creativity and compliance.
Ideal Applicant
We are looking for a Development Chef with culinary flair and personality, able to deliver memorable training and engage with both adults and pupils. You will have previous experience in catering within the education sector, menu development, training and development of colleagues. You must comply with necessary regulations, laws, nutrition standards and due diligence. Accuracy with costings is essential. This role is subject to a DBS check.
