THE COMPANY:
We are currently working with a well-established food manufacturing company based in Telford, looking to recruit an experienced Multi-Skilled Engineer with an electrical bias.
With over 25 years in the industry, the company continues to expand, offering innovative solutions and high-quality products to its clients.
BENEFITS:
- Competitive salary of up to £42,000.
- Sociable working hours (5am – 2pm, Monday to Friday)
- Overtime paid in addition to salary (every other Saturday).

DUTIES:
- Perform both planned and reactive maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems.
- Diagnose and repair faults in production equipment to minimise downtime.
- Work with PLC systems, motors, and control panels.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports.
- Assist in the installation of new equipment and machinery.
- Provide technical support to the production team.
THE CANDIDATE:
The ideal candidate will be a time-served Multi-Skilled Engineer with a strong electrical background and experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
You should have:
- A recognised electrical qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3, 18th Edition).
- Food Safety Certificate.
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with PLCs, motors, and automated systems.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
