The Role
As a Product Support Specialist, you will form part of the UK Technical Team, delivering expert field-based support across the West Midlands and surrounding areas. This is a hands-on, customer-facing position where you will act as the technical specialist for installations, diagnostics, fault finding and repairs on professional coffee and vending equipment. You will also provide technical guidance and training to engineers and operators, ensuring equipment performs at optimum levels. You will work closely with service partners and key accounts, building strong relationships and representing the business professionally at all times. There may also be occasional travel within the UK, Ireland and Europe for training and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide on-site technical diagnostics, repair and resolution of faults
- Support installations and commissioning of coffee and vending equipment
- Deliver technical training to engineers and customers
- Support exhibitions, trade events and technical workshops when required
- Log and report technical cases, contributing to internal knowledge systems
- Work collaboratively with the Technical Manager and wider support team
- Utilise and support telemetry systems for remote diagnostics, machine performance monitoring and data-driven fault analysis
Candidate Requirements
Essential:
- Proven experience diagnosing and repairing coffee machines, vending machines or similar electromechanical equipment
- Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills
- Experience in a field-based technical support role
- Confident, customer-facing communication skills
- Solid understanding of telemetry systems and remote machine monitoring
Desirable:
- Experience delivering technical training
- Familiarity with CRM or help‑desk systems
- Understanding of health & safety standards relating to technical equipment
