Account Manager Responsibilities:
- Successfully increase account spend by reaching out to existing customers to offer additional solutions and identify further upsell opportunities
- Carefully listen to customers to fully understand their requirements and business, enabling you to offer relevant products and services
- Manage a spectrum of accounts, effectively handling incoming queries via phone and email and delivering a first-class experience that retains custom and reduces cancellation rates
- Act as an industry expert for your accounts by demonstrating a good understanding of products and services available
- Deliver against agreed targets and KPIs, exceeding expectations where possible
- Pass prospects and leads across to the New Business team
- Update the CRM with sales activity and accurate customer details
Account Manager Skills and Experience:
- Possesses previous experience in an outbound sales role, either as an Account Manager or Sales Executive
- B2B experience would be a distinct advantage, although not essential
- Has a proven track record of identifying up-sell and cross-sell opportunities and is confident taking advantage of those opportunities
- Showcases superb interpersonal and communication skills, able to build rapport and foster close-knit relationships with customers
- Resilient, determined and eager to achieve and surpass targets
- Eager, enthusiastic, pro-active and positive in your approach
