Job Description Our client is a well-established and growing professional services business based in the Sutton Coldfield area, supporting a diverse portfolio of clients across a wide range of sectors. They are looking for an experienced Employee Relations Advisor to join their friendly and supportive team. Working with a portfolio of clients, you’ll provide practical, commercially focused HR advice and support across a broad range of employee relations matters. You could currently be working as an Employee Relations Advisor, HR Advisor, HR Officer, People Advisor or HR Consultant and be looking for a role offering more variety, responsibility and the opportunity to develop your career. Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm Pension scheme This role is 100% office based - Work from home is not on offer Employee Relations Advisor Responsibilities: Provide practical HR advice and guidance to clients across a wide range of employee relations matters. Advise on disciplinary, grievance, absence, capability and performance matters. Prepare HR documentation including letters, contracts, policies, procedures and meeting paperwork. Build strong relationships with clients, becoming a trusted point of contact for their HR and employee relations queries. Occasionally visit client sites within the local area to provide face-to-face HR support. Employee Relations Advisor Skills and Experience: Previous experience working within employee relations, HR advisory or a similar people-focused HR role. Good practical knowledge of employee relations, including disciplinary, grievance, absence, capability and performance management. Confident advising, coaching and supporting managers through HR processes. CIPD Level 3 or Level 5 qualified, or currently working towards a CIPD qualification. Friendly, approachable and confident communication style, both over the telephone and face-to-face. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office. A full UK driving licence would be advantageous due to occasional local client visits.
