Operating on a national basis, this company is searching for a Management Accountant to take ownership of the management accounts and lead a team.

Management Accountant Responsibilities
- Prepare management accounts for the company and its subsidiaries
- Ensure that all accruals, prepayments, and depreciation is recorded
- Track inventory levels and costs, and oversee regular stock take processes
- Reconcile VAT, balance sheet accounts, and intercompany transactions
- Work across departments to assist with budgets
- Collaborate with Auditors on year-end reporting and statutory accounts
- Lead and mentor a team, sharing your finance and management accounting knowledge
- Perform regular one-to-ones and performance reviews, and handle all day-to-day team management
- Compile financial data to generate reports and provide actionable insights
Management Accountant Skills and Experience
- Fully qualified accountant (CIMA or ACCA) with proven experience producing management accounts and delivering meaningful financial insights
- A natural leader with a track record of developing, mentoring, and inspiring finance teams to perform at their best
- Motivated by fast-paced, high-volume environments and able to prioritise effectively while maintaining accuracy under pressure
- Highly analytical with exceptional attention to detail, enjoying the challenge of diving deep into data to drive informed decisions
- Proactive and self-motivated, confident in taking ownership of responsibilities, tackling challenges head-on, and working independently when required
- Technically proficient with exceptional Excel skills
