An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join an established and growing business. This is a temporary - permanent opportunity.
This Purchase Ledger role would suit someone with experience in a similar position who is looking to develop their skills within a professional and supportive environment. Working as part of a close-knit finance team, you will support the day-to-day accounting function, maintain accurate financial records, liaise with clients and suppliers, and assist with month-end processes.
What’s in it for you?
- Work hours: 8:30am – 4:30pm Monday – Thursday, 8:30am – 1.00pm Friday
- Salary: £14 to £15 per hour – whilst working for Midas Recruitment on a temporary basis
Purchase Ledger Responsibilities:
- Reporting to the Finance Manager and supporting the day-to-day finance function
- Processing purchase invoices and matching invoices to POs and PODs
- Managing accounts payable and receivable
- Processing supplier payments
- Raising and processing invoices, including invoice chasing
- Liaising with clients and suppliers
- Chasing outstanding payments and maintaining accurate account records
Purchase Ledger Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience within a Purchase Ledger role
- Advanced Excel skills, with the ability to manipulate and analyse data
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, busy environment
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage ledgers and prioritise daily tasks
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
