This is a great Temp to Perm opportunity for someone with some accounts or bookkeeping experience who enjoys a hands-on role. You’ll be joining a small, supportive team where you can quickly become a valued part of the business.

- Work hours: Monday to Thursday, 8:30am - 5pm, with a 4pm finish on a Friday and an hour lunch
- Salary: £12.50 - £13.00 per hour whilst temping through Midas Recruitment

Accounts Assistant Responsibilities:
- Support with a variety of day-to-day finance and accounts administration
- Monitor customer accounts and follow up on outstanding payments
- Process transactions accurately using accounting software
- Raise and send sales invoices and customer statements
- Process and approve supplier invoices
- Complete bank reconciliations
- Respond to customer account queries in a friendly and professional manner
- Keep customer account records accurate and up to date
- Provide general support to the wider finance team as required
Accounts Assistant Skills and Experience:
- Immediately available and happy to consider a Temp to Perm opportunity
- Previous office experience with a good understanding of accounts or bookkeeping
- Confident working with numbers and excellent attention to detail
- Friendly and confident communicator, both internally and with customers
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office and able to pick up new accounting systems quickly
- Organised, proactive and willing to get stuck in
- Happy to learn, ask questions and take on a varied workload
