The Role
As a part-time Collections Executive, you’ll work closely with customers to discuss outstanding balances, resolve account queries, and agree on affordable repayment solutions. This is a customer-focused role where strong communication, empathy, and problem-solving are key.
- Contact customers regarding outstanding balances and agree on suitable repayment arrangements
- Deliver exceptional customer service while achieving positive business outcomes
- Handle inbound customer enquiries and resolve account-related queries
- Process customer payments accurately and securely over the phone
- Maintain accurate customer records and update account information in line with company procedures
- Work towards first-call resolution and customer satisfaction targets
About You
We’re looking for a confident communicator with previous experience in customer service, collections, contact centres, or other outbound telephone-based roles.
- Previous experience in collections, customer service, debt recovery, or an outbound call environment
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and trust
- Excellent telephone manner and verbal communication skills
- Confident negotiating positive outcomes with customers
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems
- Self-motivated, resilient, and professional when handling challenging conversations
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
